The Turtlenecks
The Turtlenecks are a soul jazz outfit led by Jimmy Garden on tenor sax. They play a mixture of originals and smooth and funky 1970s jazz classics. Featuring Joe Kaptein on organ, Tom Dennison on bass, Adam Tobeck on drums, and Jimmy Garden on Tenor Sax. These guys will set the perfect scene to sip a wine during a sunny afternoon.

Hailing from Germany, Mama Jules has been delighting New Zealand with her music for the last six years. Combining professional tuition, unwavering passion and experience performing around the globe. Offering warm and powerful vocals, groovy rhythm, and electric piano or guitar, Mama Jules will captivate you.

With over 20 years performance experience, Chris Melville is a classic jazz and soul singer who cites Frank Sinatra, Miles Davis and Ella Fitzgerald as his major influences playing his part in his Jazz trio. With his warm, velvet vocal delivery he sings classic jazz songs from an era of style and sophistication, an ideal soundtrack to enjoy by the waters edge.
Nick Taylor & friends
Nick Taylor is a highly experienced bassist with over 10 years of performing experience. He brings with him rotating experienced jazz players to form the grooviest trio at Somm. Nick's soulful sounds matched with a relaxed atmosphere will be sure to get you in the mood for good times only.
Matt Parkinson
Matt Parkinson is an accomplished acoustic musician who has performed since 2010! Matt's cover songs range from the 60s to modern music.
